I have been practising as a qualified counsellor since 2006 working with both adults and children and I am a Senior Accredited member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.
I run a successful Counsellor Training Organisation (CB Counsellor Training Ltd) providing regular CPD events for other local counsellors, alongside my Private Practice and I am the founding and lead counsellor of East Surrey Counselling Group.
My previous experiences, alongside my adult work, include working for Surrey Family Mediation Service, as a Child Counsellor for children whose parents were separating or divorced, work as both a Primary and Senior School Counsellor and work as an Adolescent Counsellor.
Prior to undertaking Counselling training I worked as a teaching assistant and then a Therapeutic Learning Mentor in both Warlingham and Horsham schools so have extensive knowledge of children and adolescents, both in schools and in counselling settings.
I also have a passion for working with adult clients and for ethical reasons I maintain a balanced Private Practice of both children and adult clients and am available Tuesday – Friday.
